Visual impact assessment for the offshore wind farm BALTIC I
The OECOS team carried out a visual impact assessment as part of the environmental impact assessment for OFFSHORE OSTSEE WIND AG within the approval procedure of the offshore wind farm BALTIC I (21 generators, 15 km north of the peninsula of Fischland/Darss).
Photographic representations established the most realistic estimation possible of the expected effects and a set of 24 criteria was developed to describe and evaluate the specific visual effects of an offshore wind farm on the coastal environment.
